Without even a start date for Season 3 of History Channel’s Vikings, fans are getting a little despondent – sometime in the summer of 2015 just isn’t good enough. How are we supposed to start our countdown widget without an actual start date after all?

However, Vikings actress, Katheryn Winnick (who plays the shield maiden Lagertha) has come to the rescue with the announcement that filming to Season 3 is drawing to a close:

What is a little concerning about the image above is how many cast members are actually missing from it! Although, thanks to the fact that a TV show can wrap over several days, hopefully this means there is nothing to worry about.
